12 years of renovation, lots of work with ups and downs, and 3 children…. this is what it took Julie and Mathieu to open up the doors of their family home and the B&B Les Chambres du Chat.
The owners of the premises enjoy simple passions, torn between their love of antique objects full of history, nature and family, while he also has a passion for DIY and music.
This is probably what inspired Julie and Mathieu to restore and renovate these buildings so as to be able to welcome guests from all horizons. Their ambition is to simply treat and welcome all guests like friends or family, and therefore to help others to discover their much-loved area.
JULIE BY MATHIEU
Originally from Wavre, Julie followed me all the way to Gaume! Best partner in a Flea Market, she is the best friend to have when you are hesitating on the choice an object! It is she who took on the decoration, and even all of the smallest details, of the rooms!
Visiting Flea Markets is her passion. A passion which calls for a study of all details: colours, materials, objects which she unearths in shops, market or flea stalls.
Looking after other people is her second passion. You will be lavished with attention, making your stay the very best possible. She is so impatient to be able to welcome you, that the table will always be set the night before. Isn’t that just the icing on the cake?
