It is in the heart of Julie and Mathieu’s family home that you will find les Chambres du Chat. This elegant yellow stone dwelling which dates from 1782 was completely restored by Mathieu respecting the traditional Gaumaise style.
Beautiful natural materials like wood and stone give a warm atmosphere to the family home where calm and tranquillity reign. You will be able to appreciate a mixture of antique furniture and recovered objects like Papy Robert’s gramophone alongside a refined decoration…Julie roams flea markets and yard sales for you, some of our objects are even for sale

Our living space has an authentic and intimate atmosphere. At the first snowflakes you will want to warm up by our old « Godin » stove cast. You can enjoy meeting your hosts in this friendly, homely room, favourable to laughter and long conversations.
The kitchen and dining room are open for your hearty breakfasts and evening meal (on request). You can also enjoy the garden, the private terrace, sitting under the apple tree or by the stream.
For breakfast in the Chambres du Chat, you can taste all the goodness of the Gaume region:
cured meats from Florenville, butter, cottage cheese and other cheeses from the Marronnier farm, fresh seasonal fruits, herbal teas Marie-Hélène (Simple and wild), Mamy’s jams, homemade bread, pancakes, omelettes and savoury cakes...
A special moment in the day, Breakfast is sacred! Breakfast is included in the price of the room.
